Article 33 Indonesia researchers received training to increase their capacity as researchers. On February 6, 2020 at Article 33 Indonesia office, the researchers received training on writing procedures, especially writing scientific articles from research results. The purpose of this training is to increase the understanding and ability of researchers to write the results of studies in the form of scientific articles intended for scientific publications.
Training on how to write scientific articles supported by KSI (Knowledge Sector Initiative) was facilitated by Andi Rahman Alamsyah, a lecturer in Sociology at the University of Indonesia. He is one of the editorial board of the MASYARAKAT: Journal of Sociology. General techniques and regulations related to writing scientific articles for publication of scientific journals are explained through this training. In addition, he also provides ways for articles that have been made to be published in a scientific journal. After giving materials about scientific article writing, abstracts and introduction, which had been sent to the trainer before the training, were discussed one by one. The abstract and introduction are reviewed starting from the title to the keywords. Through this abstract and preliminary review process, the researchers examine the shortcomings of the abstract and introduction that have been made, as well as what things must be considered in making abstracts and introduction.
